Water turtles and mud turtles have a strong preference for snails, fish, shrimp, or other crustaceans. This kit allows you to test which food your turtle prefers and to buy it later in larger packaging. Afterwards, other types of food should be considered to diversify and complete the diet, as the diet of water turtles and mud turtles needs to be varied enough to keep them healthy. Water fleas alone are NOT an appropriate diet for the species. Even though turtles love eating them, they can lead to deficiencies!
